When twins, Viola and Sebastian, are separated by a sailing accident in the ocean they each assume the other is drowned. Viola washes ashore at Illyria and goes undercover as Cesario working for Duke Orsino. Meanwhile, Sebastian is taken under his best friend, Antonia's, watchful and loving wing elsewhere on the coast. While at Illyria, and under disguise, "she" is employed to woo the beautiful Olivia on behalf of Duke, but Olivia falls in love with Cesario - and thus a love triangle is formed. Add in a meddling troubadour, mooching uncle, house guest who over-extended his stay, and maniacal employee who is being goaded by a mastermind - you have one of The Bard's comedic masterpieces that all wraps up with what else, a wedding! Who gets married? Do the twins reunite? Come find out November 13-16 when the Upper Dublin Theatre Department presents Twelfth Night.
